zico botakin rambut :O

tadi tuh gue denger kabar kabar yg ga enak tentang block b. ya mereka dapet masalah
biar lebih jelas baca ini deh

Nichkhun: Those, who speak about things related to flooding in Thailand without having given it a decent thought, make Thai people feel bad. And instead of coming to Thailand and acting as you please, show some courtesy to this country and please display a proper attitude.

Junho: I’m not going to disclose the names, but as a fellow Korean I am embarrassed beyond control. I would be great if a person could behave properly knowing that in one single moment one single action can disgrace not only him, but also the people around him. I’m saying this as a human being, and as a senior.

Chansung: Sometimes according to a situation even if you try to avoid careless actions, things might get out of hands, but when you’re thoughtless enough to disregard and hurt others, acting as if you’re the best out there, after such mistake you will be regarded as a thoughtless person… one should have a bit of shame…
Hmm, I wonder what happened and who they’re referring to …

Okay I’m going to explain what’s the situation…

Recently Block B had an interview on a Thai television show. The interviewer asked about the flood and one of the members, Zico, said “I know about it. I was pretending I didn’t know.” Then said something like “Thai people need money to heal their hearts but we don’t have any money” Another member chimed in, “how about 7000 won?” and then Block B laughed.

(7000 won is about $6 USD)

I’m making sense of a rough translation but basically they we’re being overly playful and joking about a devastating flood that happened to Thailand so it came out as very rude and disrespectful.

2PM, being seniors and the grown men they are, are pointing out their mistakes and have every right to be offended. As HOTTEST, we know that Thailand is like a second home to 2PM, as well as Khun’s very own homeland. We know that once the flood struck, 2PM was quick to start fundraising, hold charity auctions, even donated money out of their own pockets AS WELL AS AN ENTIRE BOAT and part of the profits from the Hands Up tour concert the other night also went straight to the flood relief. HOTTEST everywhere also donated and set up donations projects as well.

We should feel proud that 2PM are sticking up for what they feel is wrong!

As an idol group, especially one who promotes overseas, it would be a good idea to show some respect to the country you’re preforming at!

[Translation credits for tweets: 2pmalways]

Even if it’s ~just a joke~, you don’t make light of something that completely devastated a country. That isn’t okay. I’ve seen some people trying to bash 2PM for their tweets, but 2PM (especially Nichkhun) had every right to be offended. Block B should apologize… but everyone, please don’t go around bashing fandoms and stuff right now. You’re not helping.

[Actual translation]

The interviewer asked if they knew about the floods so the members acted surprised. Zico said, “Of course we know. We were only pretending we didn’t… it’s just for reactions.”

He continued, “A lot of families must have been affected by the floods. We hope they emotionally recover through our financial aid… because all we have is money.”

Another member asked, “How much do you have now?”

Zico replied, “7000 won.”
